Clients depend upon Keith’s voice user interface (VUI) design and deployment expertise gained through the development of more than 20 speech interfaces.
Keith was one of Nuance’s first technical hires, and was instrumental in developing Nuance’s leadership in the telecom sector, with applications for companies such as Motorola, Webley, Telia, and Tellme. Involved in many aspects of speech technology, Keith worked on Nuance’s phonetic search engine and grammar compiler, Swedish, Japanese, Cantonese, and Australian English applications, the Australian TAB’s wagering application, and portal applications for Telllme.
Voice Architects, Keith headed one of the industry’s first VUI design firms, SpeechStr, where he did work for clients VeCommerce, BeVocal and others. Keith holds Bachelors degrees in Linguistics and Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz.
